1.) All players who are fully vaccinated are asked to send proof of vaccination to Felix and Fingers. In many areas of the country, private businesses are requiring all guests and vendors to be fully vaccinated to enter their establishments. We also ask that all vaccinated players keep digital proof of their vaccinations on their phones for reference. Please reply to this email with a photo of your vaccination, or text a picture to: (504) 612-1136
2.) All player vaccination statuses will be available to all other players within the company (upon request). If a player feels uncomfortable playing with an unvaccinated team member, the unvaccinated team member may be removed from the show.
3.) All unvaccinated people are required to wear masks at all times, unless singing. Please note that this is a company policy, regardless of state or local mandates. Mask usage for vaccinated players will be based on the current CDC guidelines
4.) Client requests for vaccinated players will be honored when requested. If they so choose, unvaccinated players may be removed from their event on short notice, without pay.
5.) By disclosing your vaccination status to us, you are also authorizing us to share that information with clients and team members as needed. While we respect an individual’s right to choose what is best for themselves, we’re deciding to treat the safety of the team and our clients as the highest priority.
6.) Gig Specific Guidelines
- In Person Gigs
- Any unvaccinated player may be expected to take an antigen test within 72 hours of a gig. This will be at the request of the partner, and at the expense of the unvaccinated player. RED’s will communicate with players in regards to their concerns and preferences. Vaccinated players do not need to take an antigen test unless they have a known exposure.
- Any known exposures, vaccinated or non vaccinated, must be reported to the RED at the earliest possible opportunity. We’ll work on a system for implementing this.
- Virtual Gigs
- Producers
- If unvaccinated, producers should wear a mask at ALL TIMES while in the building. A player cannot request a producer be removed from a gig based on vaccination status due to the fact that the producer is 6+ feet away and fully masked. If the unvaccinated person refuses to wear a mask, or creates conflict over the mask policy (vibing the team, getting angry, being difficult to work with), that is grounds for removal from the production position, possibly permanently.
- Players
- Any unvaccinated player may be expected to take an antigen test within 72 hours of a gig. This will be at the request of the partner, and at the expense of the unvaccinated player. RED’s will communicate with players in regards to player concerns and preferences. Vaccinated players do not need to take an antigen test unless they have a recent (within 2 weeks) known exposure.
- Producers
7.) Post-Gig Reports
- A question has been added to all Post-Gig Reports requesting feedback from players on their partner’s handling of Covid cautions.
- If the partner was acting irresponsibly, whether they are vaccinated or not, then they might be removed from future gigs. Any irresponsibility reflects poorly on the company and should be addressed accordingly.
We all have a responsibility to handle Covid with care and do our best to protect our guests (by maintaining distance when possible, and wearing a mask when not performing (or in the direct presence of others).
